Oklahoma Sooners coach Lincoln Riley previewed OU's 2020 spring football schedule and what he hopes to accomplish during the 15 allotted practices. He told media defensive tackle Jalen Redmond, Jon-Michael Terry, Trey Sermon and others will miss spring practices. He wasn't terribly happy about how Bill Bedenbaugh's offensive line played. The battle between quarterback Tanner Mordecai and Spencer Rattler begins in earnest, and Riley said he believes both of them are ready to be the starting quarterback at OU. He also mentioned Robert Barnes and Jamal Morris have moved to playing linebacker rather than safety.
The big news was Baker Mayfield's Heisman statue will be revealed at OU's Red and White spring game on April 18 at 5 p.m. inside Memorial Stadium.
