In which the reader is introduced to the grim islands of Regos and Coregos, ruled by the fierce King Gos and the cruel Queen Cor, whose warriors enslave and oppress all around them. Prince Inga, accompanied by King Rinkitink and the goat Bilbil, arrives boldly at Regos, where their mysterious magic power compels the fierce warriors to retreat, leaving the oppressed inhabitants awestruck and hopeful.
