Match-fixing is poised to be a big problem in esports. Without a governing body keeping people accountable, skewing results in various tournaments is going to be a problem the esports gambling world has to deal with.

Riot Games has made an important step on that front by bringing in Sportradar to monitor League of Legends betting. This decision comes in response to a match-fixing scandal that shook the China's LPL last month.
