In response to a fatal car accident that happened less then a mile from Waipuna Chapel on Sunday morning, March 25, 2012, Pastor Kaipo assisted the high school's Christian club by addressing the hs student body. He addressed the Rest In Peace (R.I.P.) postings that many of the students had used to cope with the horrific event which left 5 passengers dead.
