The ANC has in recent days come under serious criticism for corruption issues. The party itself has acknowledged that the rot has tarnished its image so much that the country has lost faith in them. On the northern side of our border, Zanu-PF is facing hit of its own from Zimbabweans themselves. The very same Zimbabweans who welcomed the fall of the late president Robert Mugabe and embraced Emerson Mnangagwa as a breath of fresh air and hope for change. But unfortunately it is not so. What is it that brings down liberation movements in Africa? Where do they go wrong? Is it greed maybe or hunger for power?
