South Africa has a leadership crisis, which has resulted in governance and political crises, due to the poor quality of public representatives across all levels of the South African State and Government. The country’s Councils, Legislatures and Parliament, in many instances, have become a holding room for those awaiting redeployment or an ICU ward for those whose political careers are in their final days.

South Africa needs new answers from new leaders of the highest ethical standing who are going to advocate for and advance a South Africa with a national purpose. Parliament cannot be a place where those tasked with upholding the law and representing people, merely do the bidding of party bosses, whose instructions are often out of step with basic ethics and the law – the current governing party has admitted that this is the case.
