“Online teaching may get you to the door, but mentorship brings you through the door.”
In this podcast series, we’re exploring how mentorship helps us move from receiving information to applying it to our lives.
In this first episode, I share my personal journey with mentorship and discuss:
✨ What mentorship is, and what it is not.
✨How wise guidance helps us recognize blind spots and unhealthy patterns.
✨ Why accountability and loving correction matter.
✨ How mentorship helps us prepare for our God-given purpose.
✨ Why growth requires our participation, commitment, and willingness to do the work.
✨You don’t have to walk through every season alone.
❓Are you willing to receive help, and do the work? It’s time to rise and recover!

In this episode, I’m following up on something I told you all I was going to do. I reached out to someone because I wanted to make room for a hard conversation and possible reconciliation. I sent the message, followed up one more time, and I did not receive a response.
And you know what? I’m okay with that because I did my part.
Today, we’re talking about what to do when you reach out but don’t receive the response you were hoping for. How do you keep moving forward? How do you check your heart, release the outcome, maintain healthy boundaries, and continue healing without becoming bitter?
I also share five things I want you to remember: do your part, check your heart, release the outcome, leave room while maintaining boundaries, and keep becoming.
Your growth cannot depend on whether another person chooses to respond. Leave room for reconciliation, but don’t put your healing on hold.
You can leave the door open without standing at the door waiting. It’s time to get up, move forward, and continue becoming a better you.

Hello, hello, family! It’s time for each of us to become A Better YOU, and it’s time to have the hard conversations. In Part Two of Clean Up Your House, we’re learning to stop expecting the unhealed version of people, do our part, and leave the outcome to God.

In Part One of Clean Up Your House, we’re confronting the hidden wounds and unfinished conversations we’ve carried, and discovering why separation is sometimes necessary for healing.
In this episode, we’re talking about “Drop the Labels” series titled “Breaking the Hustle Mentality.”
Coming from the life of Jacob, this teaching exposes how labels, striving, survival, and generational patterns can shape the way we see ourselves, move through life, and even trust God.
Before Jacob was renamed Israel, he had to wrestle. Before his identity shifted, God touched the sensitive place. And through that encounter, we see the foundation of the H.I.P. Method: Healing • Identity • Purpose.
This episode is a reminder that you do not have to hustle for what heaven has already promised.
Drop the labels.
Break the hustle mentality.
Let God rename you.
Rise & Recover.
🎙️In this episode, we look at the story of f Joseph and the powerful journey from the pit to the palace. Promotion sounds exciting, but before God elevates us, He processes us.
📖Through Genesis 39–41, this episode reminds us that Joseph’s gift, calling, leadership, and favor did not disappear in the pit. The only thing that changed was his location.
🗣️This message is for the one who feels hidden, delayed, rejected, overlooked, or stuck in the middle of the process. God has not forgotten you. He is developing your character, healing your wounds, shaping your heart, and preparing you for what He promised.
🙏Stay faithful in the pit.
🙏Serve in the pit.
✨Use your gift in the pit.
‼️Because when God says it is time, He knows how to shift your location.

As we close out the “Drop the Labels” series, we come to one of the most powerful stories of restoration in Scripture — Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9.
This is more than a story about land being restored.
This is a story about identity being restored.
Many of us have lived in our own version of Lodabar — a low place, a dry place, a forgotten place. A place where labels, trauma, rejection, brokenness, and pain caused us to forget who we are.
Mephibosheth was dropped as a child, and the drop left him crippled. And honestly, many of us can relate. Some of us were dropped emotionally, mentally, spiritually, or relationally by people who may not have intended to hurt us — but the damage still happened.
The wounds were real.
The labels were real.
The brokenness was real.
But what blesses me about this story is that even while Mephibosheth was hidden in Lodabar, David remembered him.
And that’s the revelation:
God does not forget His sons and daughters.
In this episode, we talk about:
✨ healing from the “drop”
✨ breaking agreement with labels
✨ reclaiming identity
✨ covenant and restoration
✨ the power of movement and leaving Lodabar
✨ why God still calls broken people back to the table
Because you are not what happened to you.
You are not the labels people placed on you.
You are not the place you were dropped in.
You are who God says you are.
And it’s time to reclaim your position.
