There's a usurping Apollo, a gender-bend Pluto, and I'm smashing your pretty stories about Persephone being the Maiden, and introducing Kore, who no one ever talks about, but was the OG Goddess. Overall, we loved it! Super fun to watch. It didn’t feel like a part of the typical mass media produced exploitive, “witchy aesthetic” culture. Very fourth wave feminism--but no cellphones or mention of social media. Another thing which I found super refreshing.
