Just as travel started to recover from the hold of the pandemic, South Australia’s river regions were hit with floods, as waters from the Eastern States travelled down the Murray. This cued a major Riverland Recovery response, as South Aussies did what South Aussies do best and band together to pitch in.

Now, as waters recede, rebuilds are underway, and registrations for the Rise Up for the River vouchers are open from 19 June, there’s a call for South Aussies and beyond to pitch in by pitching a tent - or something more luxurious if you’re Matt Gilbertson.
