Saul hatred Christians. He was a Jewish Pharisee who was on the hunt for Christians when he was blinded in an encounter with Jesus. Ananias was a disciple whom God ordered to place hands on Saul and restore his sight. Both received a vision from God and a command from God. And both were transformed. Saul embraced God's healing and Ananias accepted God's call to a reconciling ministry. The conversion of Saul was especially significant; he became the Apostle Paul who planted churches and wrote Scripture. In this week's sermon, Pastor Mia says that if God can work with Saul, God can also work with you too, through the acceptance the Lord's healing and forgiveness.
