The incomparable Rita Ryan taught Latin at Omaha Central for 42 years, from 1971-2013. Rita was inducted the following year into the Central Hall of Fame. She took Eagle students and families to Europe 15 times, and ran the country's oldest Latin Club while at CHS. For generations of Eagles, a Rita Ryan mention brings a smile to their faces everytime.
Rita passed away in 2022.
