Michael recounts his bumbling efforts to enact/stop Operation Dynamo in GMT's France '40, while Tom starts the first campaign game of ASL Festung Budapest in earnest. Michael rambles about RPGs for seemingly no reason, then Tom does a strange take on his ASL Rule of the Week. A simple but delicious Liquid Courage cocktail prepares us for a less simple but still delicious Ebay Quiz. Hopefully Canada still loves us, cause we still love them!

Tom and Michael slide into a bit of nonsense before attempting to remember what this podcast is about. I think it is cardboard related games?
 
Tom keeps his cred by bringing out his feelings on Advanced Squad Leader Starter Kit Decision at Elst, while Michael further muddles the waters with Root. Some assorted ramblings (different from the previous segments, somehow) on Heroes of Black Reach follow.

RitV19: Have a Seat, Take a Seat, Be a Seat

Greetings and welcome to the latest episode of Rally in the Valley, a podcast about war games, board games, and others things that still exist (just like this podcast)! Tom and Michael are back to it, with their regular mix of youthful excitement and lethargic delivery. 
 
Emails make an appearance, plus a brief discussion of Tom's initial thoughts on Next War Poland (It's very good). In a move that surprises no one, Michael also bought War of the Ring! The boys talk about elves and "non-good aligned" players to their hearts content.
 
And if you always wondered whether Michael was truly as hardcore a war gamer as he claimed, we've got news. Tom is the charlatan! He's gone full miniatures in a discussion of Infinity the Game, a sci-fi skirmish game that is so miniatures it hurts to even type this!

Greetings and welcome to the 17th episode of Rally in the Valley, a podcast that is one of the things that comes up when you search "Rally in the Valley" in your search engine of choice. I hope it's WebCrawler! Tom and Michael make a return! It is shoddy work at best. Big news on the Rally in the Valley home front though. You'll have to listen to find that one out!
 
Tom and Michael stumble through some emails, then the rest of the episode keeps that awkward cadence up. Pax Romana, does it make these boys wanna wanna play? And Michael solo's Unhappy King Charles! ? What is the world coming to. ASL rule of the week returns while Michael offers no excuses in his lack of Liquid Courage. An eBay Quiz occurs in a most unusual fashion. Was it worth the wait for all this "quality"? You tell us dear listener! RitV17: The Phone Lines Are Open For Pizza

It's something you may or may not have been clamoring for, the most 16-est to this point episode of Rally in the Valley has arrived! It's a podcast, about games, about war. Tom and Michael bring their A game in a stunning turn of events after their absence. Email talk leads to some hardcore, hot and heavy game talk. The Lamps are Going Out (Compass Games) has ignited a passion in Michael that leads him to boringly discuss the game's mechanics in detail for twenty odd minutes. Desert Heat (Lock n Load Publishing) is more lukewarm in Tom's early previews, while Michael's Enemy Coast Ahead: The Doolittle Raid experiences leave Tom a bit hot under the collar that he gifted it to his cohost. ASL Rule of the Week has Michael do his best to "sound German", while the boys say "sparkling wine" far too much during a Liquid Courage segment. Tom's Ebay Quiz is bonkers as always, and weirdly ties into Michael's new job?! The lads are glad to be back, whether you are glad is a different story!
