'Rivalries' is a series where we meet fans from opposition clubs to talk over the latest Aston Villa games.

This week, less than 24 hours after a host of major European clubs announced the formation of 'The Super League', Frankie met Manchester City fan David Mooney, who hosts the 'Blue Moon' podcast and The Athletic's 'Why Always Us?'.

We were due to discuss Villa's upcoming match against City, but conversation was dominated by the Manchester club's decision to join 'The Super League'.

David described the emotions of seeing his team join the new league along with the likes of AC Milan and Barcelona, and we talked about what it could mean for football as a whole.
