Specifically, Katie details when she was introduced to prescription medications and how a medical condition led to her journey of substance misuse and abuse. Katie talks about stereotypes related to people who use substances and why it is so important to debunk myths, stereotypes, and break stigma around this topic. She also talks about pivotal moments in her journey that led her to seek treatment.
