Riya's Ramblings: Ep 47 - Back to school, now in middle school

The new school year has started!  Lots of new experiences!! Middle school!!

I have done a few back to school episodes, and this one is about my start of middle school.  

It's been different than elementary school in many ways.

Here's what I talk about:

  • I was really worried about getting lost going from class to class, but it wasn’t that bad
  • I have been kinda bored about all the first few days of school curriculum.
  • I see a lot of new kids, and am trying to make friends
  • I am doing choir, a bit nervous to sing, but also excited
  • The bathroom lines are really long between passing periods
  • The hallways are very crowded
  • The backpack's really heavy
  • Opening out gym lockers was really hard, because that was our first time
  • I had a classmate recognize me from here - this podcast. That was very cool!! She was like "Riya? Like from the podcast?" 

    • If you are worried about middle school, here's some advice:

    • Don’t stress, and ask people where everything is on the first day
    • Have fun
    • Make new friends
    • Be patient
    • Don’t Procrastinate
    • Know where the bathrooms are
