Why it is necessary to have boundaries !

They say 'when the going gets tough, the tough gets going', but recently it has been re phrased to 'when the going gets tough, the tough hide'. Both are right. You ned to know when to act tough and when to hide ;) You need to know when to say No and how to say it. When you say a NO,

1. Be straightforward

2. Briefly explain yourself (don't fabricate)

3. Bring up an alternative if you can/want

4. Keep your stance

My problems are my problems and for me it is a big deal!

Rejections is not acceptable to a lot of people. They go into depression or choose unhealthy/toxic ways to cope with it. But it is not very difficult to cope up with rejection in a healthy way. Here is how :)

1. Ask yourself why you are hurt/upset

2. Take a step back

3. Process your feelings

4. Self assurance

5. Think about your loved ones
