Synopsis:

Martin Sheen, Helen Shaver, and Robert Loggia star in John Schlesinger’s shocking occult thriller, The Believers – a roller coaster ride of high-speed action, horror and gripping suspense.

Minneapolis psychologist Cal Jamison arrives in New York to start a new life with his young son, after his wife is killed in a freak accident. Hired by New York’s Police Department to help stressed-out cops, he’s asked by Lieutenant McTaggert to treat a young detective who is acting as strange as the series of ritualistic child murders he is investigating. Jamison is soon plunged into a frightening world of strange religious worshippers.

The Believers is the story of one man who risks his life to stop the deadly forces no one can find, no one can stop, no one can get away from.
