  • Film Nerd Review - Tatort Alles was Sie sagen

    --- Release Bio ---
Now the time has come – mikebo’s long-awaited concept album has been published!
mikebo’s new album “Red Desert” addresses the mankind’s both ancient and highly topical dream: To leave this planet and to strive for the stars.
One of the most tempting destination, leaving our moon aside, is certainly our neighbouring planet Mars. The red planet is a mysterious place with plenty of unanswered questions, especially regarding possible parallels between both the earth and the Mars. Some of these questions haven’t even been asked yet…
    --- The Artist ---
“Electronic Vintage” is the name that the German Musician mikebo gave to his audio-visual performance, which combines synthesizer-based compositions with video-art-work.
According to mikebo, the creation of musical structures can well be compared with the act of painting or sculpting. The experimentation with various sounds inspired mikebo and let to the production of his songs. As a result, melodies and harmonic structures can be considered to be the direct outcome of the inspiration he got by discovering new interesting sounds and effects.
Given that, it is clear why some sounds could be perceived as soundtracks: with the power of imagination, you easily will be able to discover the pictures which belong to the musical “movie.”
    --- Feat. Phil Steff ---
The journey from the first idea to the completion of a whole album is a long one. Owing to favourable circumstances mikebo got support for his album “Red Desert” from the French artist Phil Steff. Phil is not only DJ and remixer; he also owns the label TAMARIS Records and is a very talented guitarist. He joined mikebo in three songs: In “Red Desert“ with his electric his guitar and his Mellotron, in „the Visitors“ with his glissando guitar and in “Expanse“ again with his electric guitar.
    Merci Beaucoup, Phil. Great job!
    --------------- Deutsche Version ---------------
    Merci Beaucoup, Phil. Great job!

  • Ni Shikong- ToothandnaiL and SkyLander (Radio Edit)
This is a collaboration between myself 'ToothandnaiL' and SkyLander. We've forged a slower tempo style EDM track that centers around bass plucks and swingy arpeggiated synths. The laid back atmosphere in certain parts of the song are juxtaposed with very intense and big-sounding builds/climaxes. Feel free to leave feedback as I'm always looking to improve and enjoy!!

  • The Rise Of Chaos(Re-edited)
This is a re-edited version of the track 'The Rise of Chaos' that I've already posted. Although some of it is based on Pryda - UMF 2016 ID, I don't consider it to be a remix, a rendition or a cover. It's more like a revamp if a label must be applied. I'm still making some changes to the song and will probably continue to do so

  • The Present Moment (Original)
This is the fully completed and mastered version of the track. I increased the intensity of the chords and compression effects to generate a little more energy. Let me know what you think! And Enjoy!!

  • Accretion of Truth (Original)
This is an electro-house style track based around a distorted bass that is similar to the sound used by Justice in a lot of their material except not quite as distorted. Sorry for the rather abrupt ending, but my computer broke down and I was unable to conclude the track. Let me know what you think and enjoy!!
