This show I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite DJ’s. As a lifelong Detroiter and especially coming up in the 80’s I was privileged to hear this legend .. he inspired me to listen to music from all people in different ways.. He also inspired us to Turn on Our Porch lights to get ready for the Midnight FUnk Association .. I’m talking about Charles Johnson also known as the Legendary Electrifying MOJO.. He took us on musical journeys every night playing everything from R&B to Jazz to Funk to New Wave and beyond.. He was the first supporter of the Godfathers of Techno Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson.. He is known for being one of the only people Prince would talk too.. Like the legendary interview right after Prince left the stage at Cobo arena performing on his birthday..And if you ever felt down he reminded you that “Ain’t Nobody Bad Like You!! SO I affectionately call this edition of #RMNSC / #RWND - What Would MOJO DO? Welcome to another chance to #RMNSC / #RWND.. Takin things Back in Time. I am T. Martin/ TeMack in the Building.. Kicking it with with you every Saturday from Noon til 2. You can hang with me on www.crbradio.com
