Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula, says he'll seek leave  appeal the decision of the High Court in Pretoria to declare the AARTO Act unconstitutional and invalid. Mbalula was addressing the media during the release of the 2021 festive season road fatality statistics. The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) challenged the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act and the AARTO Amendment Act.
