Both drivers exited their vehicles and continued their confrontation before a passing Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer detained the suspect on site. Police recovered the firearm and Johns was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. The case is classified as under investigation.
