This week on G&T: Sips & Giggles, Glenn and Tina are back for a proper catch-up, and Northern Ireland has once again delivered the goods.
First up, we mourn the loss of a local gem as Spaghetti Arms Restaurant announces its closure. The hatch may still be open, but the big question remains: where are we supposed to sit in now and absolutely face plant a Sunday roast?
Then, the new Lidl pub in Dundonald has finally opened, and in true Northern Ireland style, it wasn’t long before opening night was reportedly marked by a bar brawl. Because apparently we cannot be trusted with discounted pints and novelty interiors.
Tina also lifts the lid on the glamorous, chaotic and occasionally mysterious world of wigs, make-up routines and drag preparation. From getting the face on to getting the hair right, we get into the rituals, the shortcuts, the disasters and the bits that nobody sees before the spotlight hits.
It’s food grief, pub drama, beauty secrets and Belfast nonsense, all served with a strong G&T.
