Marc Shaiman, who composed the score and a number of songs for the brand new Mary Poppins Returns movie (out today), shares how he became involved with the film and other details surrounding its creation. J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (aka “That Christian Parody Band”), calls in as the group celebrates the recent release of its 53rd CD (That’s Too Bad). J also tells some of the backstory two of the 31 Christmas parodies the band has produced over the years and graciously gave away copies of their Classics: Christmas CD.
