As we have stated many times on this podcast, the Gospel is clearly defined in I Corinthians 15:1–4 as Christ dying for our sins according to the Scriptures, being buried, and rising again the third day according to the Scriptures. When a person believes the Gospel and places their trust in Christ alone, that person is saved.
