ABOUT ROBERT JACKSON

Robert Jackson has a compelling life story. Growing up in poverty and in an abusive home, he persevered and became a college football star, leading to a brief career in the NFL. He began teaching in the Indianapolis School District and is now an award-winning speaker and author. His latest books are Becoming the Educator They Need: Strategies, Mindsets, and Beliefs for Supporting Male Black and Latino Students (ASCD) and Mothers Raising Sons.
