Robert Peoples is a retired U.S. Army veteran with 21 years of service. During his military career, he deployed three times to Iraq and Afghanistan and retired in 2018 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He is a devoted husband and father of two young adult children.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Robert has called Tampa home for the past six years. He is running for Congress as a grassroots candidate dedicated to being an accessible and responsive representative for the people of his district. Seeking to continue his lifelong commitment to service, Robert aims to be part of the solution to the challenges facing his community and the nation.

He is committed to fighting for working and middle-class families by supporting policies that improve their quality of life. Robert also believes in holding government accountable to the Constitution and the rule of law, ensuring that public officials serve with integrity, transparency, and respect for the principles upon which the nation was founded.
