Robin emailed and volunteered herself as a podcastee - she wrote of how she was working for Nike and Adidas in the 80s and early 90s at the time I was still running internationally, so she thought we might have a lot in common and maybe have crossed paths with some of the same people. I collected her from the station and we started talking straight away - after an hour and a half with a lot of laughter and finding many connections and yes, people we both did know in the 80s, we suddenly realised that our Friday evening was turning into a 'girl's night', but over a cup of herbal tea and she hadn't told her husband where she was, just that she was going to 'see some woman'!

And so we turned on the recorder and made our podcast - it was great fun and more so for the energy and fun that had already built up bewteen us. I enjoyed my time with Robin so much - her energy enriched my Friday evening and I can see why she had such an impact on changes within Nike and Adidas and why she attracts clients to her online marketing company, eggboxmarketing.
