Don't waste any money on this book.
This is the worst book I've ever read. This book offers no information at all. It is completely useless. You could google robotics and find out everything in this book in less than 10 seconds. Your robot can have wheels or legs... REALLY??? WOW. Seriously, this tiny little book is complete garbage. Someone is trying to make a quick buck with this. It is a useless waste of paper. This book is for no one. DO NOT BUY!!!
Quite interesting how you can understand this topic in particular.
A teacher of ethics told me about this book so I could understand the principal topic since a scientific point of view. Turns out that the technicians are not the only ones studying this kind of topics. I found interesting that there is a whole world inside the robotics developments that deserves to be studied and understood by everyone because we are talking about creating the future with basically the tools we use today. I am not a technicians but I could see the ethic point of the robotics subject by reading an expert point of view, wich now I can appreciate and plus it is easy to see that this book offers a lot of tools by those who want to build or at the very least try to build a robot.
Very useful, specially because it gives advice about the right tools.
This turned out to be very useful to start my personal project. As an student of electric engineer, every info I can obtain about process and robotic is very valuable. This e-book was recomended by my fellow in class and it is worth every word because it takes you since the beginning to the end, from a definition of a robot, wich I find very useful at this time, till the right selection of tools to bring the project to life. Since it is my goal to build a robot I can get to the achievement of my goal by reading books like this one and if they give you the easy and understandable way to do it, even better.
Good read since the beginning, great for achieve the goal.
The best part of it is how the information comes on handy the best way possibe. My class mate recomended this book so we can go from the theory of robotics to the practice, so we get to build a robot for our robot fight plus get to know more about the topic since it is useful to our career.
