As the owner and artistic director since 2006 of Danse 1…2…3, Montreal’s premiere triple threat performing arts studio, Connie Rotella has had the privilege of helping many young artists develop their talents. Connie has been dancing, teaching, choreographing and directing professionally for the past twenty five years, working in different styles of dance and performance, on film, television and stage. She trained primarily in Montreal and Toronto and participated in numerous dance workshops in New York and Los Angeles. Closest to her heart has been representing and helping young up-and-coming Canadian performers get established in their careers.
Her students performed in the Disney Parade in Orlando and in big Montreal productions, such as Hairspray and Mary Poppins just to name a few and some were hired in lead roles for movies and television series while others are enjoying the professional tour life with companies. Connie has worked closely with many well known French artists for their upcoming tours, video-clips and television appearances. She also worked with casting agents or commercials, TV shows, movies and music videos. She participated as a guest judge on Le Match Des Étoiles on Radio-Canada, and was the first Canadian asked to give a theatrical workshop to the contestants of Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance, Poland. She choreographed and staged a scene for the Hollywood movie, White House Down.
This gave her the opportunity to work with some of the leading producers in the film industry. Connie also choreographed a piece for the actress Linda Sorgini in “Judy Garland, la fin d’une Étoile, and judged along side Jean-Marc Genereux and Vince Guzzo in “ Dancing with the Stars” for Just for kids foundations. Most recently, Connie directed and choreographed the new hit show for Judith Bérard.

Meet the cast of the popular web sitcom, Daily Struggles. Created by Robert D'Alessio, he immediately cast veteran theatrical performer Patty Saragosa to play his wife on the show. By episode 2, voice actor/actor Art Laduke was cast to play the narrator. In episode 4, singer/actor/producer Jenny DuHaime joined the cast as the female narrator and in episode 5 both Laduke and DuHaime became regular cast members. As the show progressed the beloved genie Dushash The Impeccable earned a spot on the show. Other new cast mates emerged in episode 7 such as Myriam Lopez and Jeff Aumino.
Edna Katz Silver is the latest member to join the show. Filmed in Montreal and its whereabouts, Daily Struggles is the story of Carmine and Isabella Mandolino who have been married for thirty years and their counterpart couple Sall'Ah and Jeremiah who are from another dimension all the while living in the same condo in a parallel world. Loads of laughter and fun are guaranteed to get you out of your seats.

Charles V. Rox Vaccaro, is a singer songwriter and rock guitarist from Montreal. His passion for music started very young. In the mid 80’s he was one of the founding members of the rock band LIPSTIK, managed by none other than Whitney Houston (Nippy Management Inc). The band gained big national and international notoriety, and was featured in several magazines, on radio and television, until the music scene took a different turn by the mid 90’s, and LIPSTIK went their separate ways.
The passion Charles puts in his music comes from his inner heartfelt vision, that has brought him to be a skilled musician and a great creator: sometimes it could be just the love for those three chords, or an inspiring story with the endless variations that an artist can use to narrate it. Throughout his life and extensive music career, Charles had experienced some really interesting events and has been writing and performing several songs for him but also for other talented musicians.
After a short hiatus from the entertainment industry, he recently has released several songs and he has ready a brand new single produced by Peter Ranallo, called “Can’t Stop Running” accompanied by a captivating music video directed by Marco Iammatteo. Charles has been recently nominated for the Singer/Songwriter category for the HMMA’s Hollywood Music in Media Award for 2020. The winners will be announced on January 27, 2021. He is currently working on his catalogue and playing the role as scout for young talented Montreal artists.

Jeff Gunn is a Juno Award nominated guitarist, songwriter and producer for his work on Emmanuel Jal's The Key (Gatwitch/Universal). He is the author of the Hidden Sounds: Discover Your Own Method on Guitar (Mayfair Music Publications) and a regular “guitar tips” contributor in print and film with Acoustic Guitar Magazine, Guitar World, Canadian Musician, Overdrive (Thailand), and The Guitar Mag (Thailand).

Sergine Dumais is a French-Canadian director, actress, and acting coach. She is best known for her work in Quebec musical theater and as a voice actress and director in Los Angeles. Sergine graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York, and began her career as a performing “triple-threat” in many hit shows, including La Cage aux Folles, Grease and 5 Woman Show, which she co-created. As a director, her stage credits include the French adaptation of Little Women-the musical, and Jason Robert Brown’s 13.
She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she has directed the French language dubs of over 20 features, including Mr. Holmes with Sir Ian McKellan, and The Rewrite with Hugh Grant. In addition, she has lent her voice to many Hollywood stars, including Diane Keaton, Cate Blanchett, Allison Janney, Linda Hamilton, and Salma Hayek. In recent years, she has directed the English dub of over 75 TV episodes, including the second season of the animated series Mini Wolf, now streaming on Netflix. In 2014, Sergine co-created, directed and starred in the web series 2 Femmes a Hollywood. She returned to her stage roots in 2019 and directed Slap Kiss Kill at Hollywood’s McCadden Theater. In 2020, Sergine directed her first short film, Wichita, starring Jeremy Sisto and Maxim Roy. She recently became an American citizen.

Jason A. WHITE Apart from developing numerous feature-length screenplays, TV and Web series, he co-wrote the 2012 indie feature film Silver Case (which featured Eric Roberts and Seymour Cassel). Staffed on various sitcoms and a dramatic series including Emily’s Reasons Why Not, Twins, Committed, Kyle XY, Madigan Men (with Gabriel Byrne), The Downer Channel (with Wanda Sykes and produced by Steve Martin), he’s also worked on a number of pilots including Late Boomers (with Scott Bakula), The Lunchbox Chronicles (with Monica Potter and Andy Richter) and The Untitled Janeane Garofalo Pilot.
He has written web-content for ABC Family, punch-up comedy and wraparounds for the Discovery Channel’s The Christopher Lowell Show, advertising/copywriting campaigns for various film studios and television networks, including Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, and ABC Television. Along the way, he co-wrote the short The Conversation, shot an underground, no-budget music video for The Beards and did background work for the Coen Brothers on Hail, Caesar!.
HILARY BARRAFORD Born + bred in Boston, the quirky + whip-smart Hilary Barraford has always been a storyteller. From backyard plays to honing her voice at #1-ranked Williams College, entertaining has been her passion. After college, a life-changing experience with director Brad Silberling on Moonlight Mile (Dustin Hoffman, Susan Sarandon + Jake Gyllenhaal) cemented her love of acting + led her to Los Angeles. She soon landed a role on Emmy-nominated + Golden Globe-winning United States of Tara with Toni Collette, John Corbett + Brie Larson.
Her independent work got the attention of two-time Oscar-nominated director John Sayles (Lone Star, Eight Men Out), who tapped Hilary for Go For Sisters (Edward James Olmos, Mahershala Ali + Hector Elizondo) that premiered at SXSW in 2013 + was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. John also pulled her in behind the camera—and a producer was born. WHAT’S YOUR STORY? For as long as I can remember I’ve been obsessed with stories of women who go from rags to riches, from fear to success, and vice versa. What separates those who cave into their circumstances while others climb to the top?
WHY DO SOME SELF-DESTRUCT AND OTHERS SUCCEED? As a child I always was attracted to powerful female human characters…mainly princesses…who ruled with passion, purpose, and who pioneered their own path. Every movie. Every book. Every bedtime story. My mom even had to dig deep into the bowels of library literature from ye olden days to find new princess stories. I couldn’t get enough of them. I was fascinated by their humanity, despite their royal status. I hid inside these characters and buried myself in my imagination to escape the truth of what was going on at home. Addiction ran rampant in my house: my dad the addict, my mom the quintessential codependent. It was then, as a child when I made the decision to be an actress.
I ACTED IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES - IN MY ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS + IN MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MYSELF. I acted like I was fine when I wasn’t. I acted happy when all I wanted to do was cry. I acted healthy when all I wanted to do was puke. I started doing a dangerous dance with bulimia, body image issues, and blame that lasted 10 years. The funny thing is, most people thought I had my shit together…like really well. And, yet, I soldiered on with my story of "being the victim," blaming others for my pain.
THE STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES ARE THE MOST PROFOUND…AND USUALLY NOT TRUE. I created this powerful story in my mind that affected every part of me - my career, my relationships, and my relationship with my body. I believed I was broken. So I continued to break off pieces of me to fit into other people’s molds of what I thought they wanted me to be. I was a chameleon. Adapting to survive.
IN MY STORY, I WAS NEVER ENOUGH. Not perfect enough. Not smart enough. Not working hard enough. Not skinny enough. Not lovable enough. So I constantly had to PROVE myself. Prove my “enoughness.” And, man did I try.
