10 steps to make your temporary wiring faster, safer and less costly!
Temporary wiring on a large commercial construction project is often overlooked and sometimes de-prioritized in comparison to the entire project. 

Treating it as  an essential part of the project and giving it the proper planning it deserves can not only save hours and dollars and keep the job efficient and safe, but can also avoid costly setbacks and even expensive fines.

A large temporary wiring system can also be a great training opportunity for a responsible Apprentice or newly licensed electrician. 

1. Before any installation, put a plan on paper and know the requirements!
2. Create a one line diagram. 
3. Plan your underground.
4. Plan your overhead cable runs.
5. List all your service equipment.
6. List your power and lighting materials.
7. Create panel schedules and a weekly inspection log.
8. Plan equipment location.
9. Plan cable routes and elevations.
10. Plan the removal.
