Minnesota artist Courtney Yasmineh started writing songs in her teens. Now, a few decades later, she's traveling the world as a singer, songwriter, and now, novelist. It's a long way from finding her way through a difficult childhood to a successful career as an artist, but Courtney's making it happen. Her new book, A Girl Called Sidney: The Coldest Place came out in June, and her next album, The High Priestess and The Renegade , will be distributed out of Germany this spring. She's an artist on
