I said 'Let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia.

This book's subtitle, "What if it didn't happen then? What if it happened now" makes me think of CS Lewis, when asked if his Narnia books were allegories. He answered "I'm not writing in that way. I did not say to myself 'Let us represent Jesus as He really is in our world by a Lion in Narnia': I said 'Let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia . . .'" Jodi does an amazing job of "supposing" the circumstances of the Messiah's birth in our day, our culture, our society. I love the suspense, the drama, the romance, and especially the worship of the Savior told a way I'd never imagined.

I found this to be a good read. Although alittle slow at times. It was enjoyable though.

Surprising and enjoyable!

Wow! I did not see that coming! After reading the first book in this series, Rocky Mountain Angels, I was very happily following along In the romance of Mari and Joe as they plan their upcoming wedding, and the intriguing addition of a possible stalker in Mari's life. I was expecting a sort of romance/ suspense theme but then the plot surprised me completely and headed in an entirely different direction. Without giving it away, I was fascinated by the idea of ordinary people being chosen to take part in the most unordinary event in human history! "What if it happened now?" Engaging and down to earth.

I love this story

It's a great story and well written! - but one thing: do u have to describe what everyone is wearing so frequently and thoroughly? For me it was distracting and after a while annoying. I just felt it was unnecessary and got to where I would skip over the descriptions. But that didn't keep me from truly enjoying the story! And I will definitely read more! I deeply appreciated the scripture quotes. Makes me want to read Pslams again :)

Read this one

I was anxious to read this second book in the Rocky Mountain Series. The first book was a great story and Jodi's stories are always entertaining.
