Rod Liddle: Britain melts down over Brexit

Listen Later

Theresa May's Brexit deal may get the support of Cabinet, but is unlikely to get Parliament's approval.
Cabinet members are meeting under urgency to discuss the deal.
Sources say ministers are still be divided on the issue of the Irish border.
UK correspondent Rod Liddle told Mike Hosking getting Parliamentary approval appears increasingly impossible.
"She will just about get this through but then what happens? How on earth does she get this through the House of Commons? She cannot do it."
"There are at least 13 conservative MPs who will definitely, without question, vote against this deal. They have already said they will. And while she was bolstered a little by those Labour MPs who are pro-Brexit and there were about 13 of those as well, they have all said that they will vote this down because it doesn't deliver the Brexit they wanted."
