In the latest episode of the Online Sports Program: A Podcast, we are introduced to Roel Velasco. A light flyweight boxer, Roel won the bronze in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He was born in the province of Negros Occidental and faced many challenges in his journey to the Summer Games. He is the only Filipino to win a medal in the Goodwill Games in New York 1998.
