Roger Bonds - Diddy's Former Head of Security - The Danza Project Episode 154

Listen Later

With all the news surrounding Diddy lately, it’s hard to decipher what’s real and what isn’t. After all, his tight inner circle is among the few who know what goes down behind closed doors. Following Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy, his former head of security, Roger Bonds, emerged, initially corroborating some of the allegations before backtracking. Bonds has remained out of the limelight since he ended his 9-year tenure under Diddy’s tutelage in 2012, although he’s seen a few things during his time with the Bad Boy mogul. Loyalty undoubtedly plays a role in thriving in this industry, though Bonds has experienced how that can be the crux of success in this business. Bonds joined us for the latest episode of The Danza Project for a no-holds-bars interview. As the questions surrounding Diddy continue to pile on, Bonds provides an eye-opening insight into who the mogul really is. Bonds dishes on his experiences working with Diddy from 2003-2012, divulging details surrounding what was going on behind the scenes at Bad Boy and the downfall of his relationship with the hip-hop billionaire. Don’t get it twisted -- there are plenty of jaw-dropping revelations, such as when Danza asks Bonds about the allegations surrounding male escorts that went viral from Cassie’s legal filing. Despite putting his life on the line for Diddy as his security guard, Bonds also wound up seeing his former boss’ true colors, although he admittedly failed to recognize it at the time. Referring to Diddy as “emotionless,” he also speaks on losing his respect for Diddy. Still, he commends Diddy for speaking out about his son, who has been locked up for 13 years for what Bonds describes as a miscarriage of justice, and assisting with legal fees. Most importantly, Roger Bonds touches on all of the topics that have been lingering on our minds over these past few months: the gay allegations, Suge Knight, Tupac, Kim Porter, and more.
