During lockdown Roger spent a lot of time sitting at his kitchen table observing the wildlife - mostly birds - in his garden.  He set up his camera and his interest in photography, birds and community led to a series of calendars which helped raise money for local community projects - including food banks. Find out how covid (and not being invited to Boris Johnson's parties) provided the time to develop his skills in framing the pictures, designing calendars and making the lockdown a beneficial time for the people of Happy Valley. 
Roger is active in trades union politics, the Labour Party and is also a keen walker so we may hear more form him in the future - people in Happy Valley are multi dimensional
