In exploring the Nexus through her God’s Lantern, Freya was possessed by the Disciple, Xethir. She freed herself from his grip, but he knew where they were. They could only assume he was curious about them after they thwarted his efforts in creating a Graven in Dustmere from the body of duke Debiles. 

They moved Inn, to The Night Mountain in the Plaza District and made a plan: to take the day, a collective breathe. Sentinel negotiated some well paid work with Ripper and the rest of the gang took to the Delnori University library.

While Freya looked into how the Touch Lotus Thieves could be using the stolen materials to fix the strange opal archway, Moxie looked into the anti-magic poison, rigore, and Ora researched the old magic that seemed to tie many of their enemies plots together: seal craft. 

Eugene explored with his Lexicon, in this vast, stained-glass library there was a secret he was after, a cache, similar to the one he found in Dustmere… he just needed to find it. In the first day, he found an old stone inscription written in Bysilman and it led him to a shelf reference, and a book with a recipe for a phosphorus alchemy.

Finally they come together around their table at the Night Mountain inn, where Morderyn blessed them with his presence and they came to the realisation that his Mother was not simply the washed up leader of a thieves guild, she had ties to the man employing the Touch Lotus...
