Roll Models D&D: Episode 93 – Behind Lock, Stone, Skull & Bone
RECAP TIME:
Following the instruction and direction of the ancient map, our heroes found and explored the first of two ancient Chambers with the pirate crew of the Oddmium Trist. The first, Yelanriae, was an undead tomb, submerged under the bedrock of the Broken Sea. What the next one, the Seal Sanctum, held is a mystery.
After a long journey a storm swept over them, one worse than any Captain Killid had ever seen. The ship was ravaged, struck by giant waves and lightning, but our heroes kept the galleon and its crew in one piece. All except Sorel, one of the twins, who was lost in the maelstrom.
As they limped to the island that mark the location of the Seal Sanctum, the captain called for a day of rest and repair. Meanwhile, Sentinel had been grounded by their patron, the Enigmora for one day, so they took the opportunity to bring our heroes in with her to their patron's domain: the Subtle house.
They dove into the Toiaska wing that was shrouded in the corrosive mist of the forgotten that ate away much of the Enigmora's domain. They defeated the core of the mist and liberated the Toiaska wing, discovering the forgotten's – and the Enigmora's – link to their nemesis Xethir.
That night they gathered in the library of the Subtle House where they ate, drank, fought in the way families do, and Florin shared with them a story of a scribe.
