Dunedin has rolled out the red carpet for Ed Sheeran and his fans
The star will perform three concerts over Easter Weekend, starting tonight.
Dunedin City Council community services manager Simon Pickford says the population of the city is 120,000, so having an extra 60,000 come in this weekend is huge
He told Mike Hosking they're making the most of it.
"So it's not just the concert's themselves there is a whole lot of other activities we are doing around the octagon, there is even a branding change at the airport for Ed."
Sheeran arrived last night and has already had his picture taking at a mural - painted in his honour
