French-born chef Romain Avril spent time at the helm of several Michelin star establishments in his home country and in the UK before making a move for Toronto, Canada where he joined the team at famed addresses Lavelle and Goldie Bar. Today, with his own company and a first cookbook under his belt (coming out this spring), Romain is working on what's next while navigating the challenges the pandemic brought to the hospitality industry.
