Roman Jewell from Fix & Fogg on smuggling peanut butter into the White House and starting small

Listen Later

Our final episode for Season One features Roman Jewell, the inspiring co-founder and CEO of Fix & Fogg. Fix & Fogg began when Roman and his wife Andrea started making peanut butter in a lawn bowls club's kitchen and selling it at farmers’ markets around Wellington. Fast forward six years and Fix & Fogg still makes delicious nut butters in Wellington, but they can now be found in supermarkets all around New Zealand, as well as overseas - plus, they have started production in the US to cater to the American market! Listen in to hear about Roman’s experience of leaving his legal career to start the business, smuggling peanut butter into the White House, and more.
