We all know what it feels like to struggle - whether at home, at work, or even within our hearts. In these season, we might be tempted to think the answer is to just grit our teeth, pull up our bootstraps, and muscle our way through. However, in Romans 10:1-13, Paul teaches us a better way: "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Salvation does not come from our sheer effort, but rather, it is found in Christ alone. Peace and strength are not distant from any of us, but rather, they are near and accessible in the presence of Jesus our Lord. This is good news not only for eternty, but for today and tomorrow.
If you feel weary, lift your eyes to Christ. He is faithful, His grace is enough, and His Word is near - closer than your very breath. Join us as Ps. Doug illustrates the spiritual disciline of clinging onto the hem of His robe.
