Today’s verse displays the security we can have in Christ:

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him..." - Romans 15:13

God is the endless source of hope, joy, and peace. These are not self-made—they are fruits of the Spirit, and flow from trusting in an eternal God that wants to hold you securely. Trust is the doorway to overflowing hope and overflowing peace.

Surrender your worries today and let His joy and peace fill you afresh. How do I do that? Maybe take out a journal and say "Here are some of my worries, Lord." Surrender those worries and fears to the King of kings, and trust in Him, and receive his hope and peace.
