Romans (The Gospel of God) Series | Augustine, Luther, Calvin, and scores of other giants on whose shoulders we now stand have been brought to faith in Jesus, or deeply strengthened in gospel hope, by the Letter to the Romans. English Puritan Thomas Draxe called it “the quintessence and perfection of saving doctrine.” Our resolve to believe the gospel, while offering this hope to those around us, will drive our exploration of this letter.
