Romans 3.21-26 - Christ As Propitiation (Easter)

Listen Later

The Gospel stands or falls on the Doctrine of Propitiation.  What is "propitiation"?  It's the doctrine that teaches us that God's wrath against humanity for our sin has been quenched for those who are in Jesus Christ because of his sacrifice on our behalf.  Sin always results in death, whether the eternal death of those not in Christ or for Christians in Christ's atoning death on the cross.  And, what is the proof that God has accepted this sacrifice?  Easter!  The resurrection!  Jesus Christ has died and been raised again so that we can be saved!  Praise God for this wonderful truth today!
