Stories matter. Stories can create new ways of thinking and being. They can inform how you show up in a room and what values to hold. Paul is pointing to an ancient story that was very familiar and then reimagines what those stories could mean. He tells a better, more inclusive story and invites people to possibly believe in this God and that this God could be that good.
