  • Romans 7:7
    • Is the law sin? Absolutely not!

      • The Law exposes sin

      • Romans 7:7
        • I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, Do not covet.
        • Romans 7:8
          • Opportunity = aphormē (Greek: ἀφορμή) – a place from which a movement or attack is made, a base of operations.

            • The Law accelerates sin

            • Romans 7:9
              • When the commandment came, sin sprang to life again…

                • The Law brings destruction

                  • The Law doesn’t provide life, but instead it brings death…
