Romans 8 has been called the most important and impactful chapter in all of Scripture. When compared with the focus of chapter 7, we see an extreme contrast and major transition that takes place. Romans 8 is all about how the Holy Spirit actually works out Christlikeness within His people. When you are in Christ, He is in you, and that makes all the difference in Christian living. God is not only interested in your perceived righteousness (imputed) but He is also intimately involved in your practical righteousness, and this happens by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in your life. Are you in Christ? If so, then the Holy Spirit is in you and the more you yield to Him the more you become like Him.
