Romans 9:5 is a verse which makes a very specific description of Jesus, “To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen”.Paul says that Jesus is, “from their race” in other words, He is Jewish. Paul also says it is “according to the flesh”. This is an assertion of the humanity of Jesus. But Jesus is not JUST human, Paul also says in this verse that He is “God over all”.
