There’s a powerful truth we can’t afford to miss: salvation is not something we earn—it is completely the result of God’s mercy.
In Romans 9:16–18, we’re reminded that God’s mercy is not based on our effort, our goodness, or our striving… it is His alone to give. Even in the midst of human rebellion, God is never at a loss. He is sovereign, just, and full of mercy.
But don’t mistake God’s patience for permission. His mercy is an invitation—not to continue in sin, but to turn to Him.
So how do we experience that mercy?
• Walk in humility
• Ask God for mercy
• Know Jesus
When we truly understand the depth of His mercy, it changes how we live. It humbles us, draws us closer to Him, and leads us to live in awe of what He has done for us.
Let’s be a people who don’t just talk about mercy—but who live in it daily.
